About This Game Venice was at the peak of its power during the Renaissance and was viewed as a city of decadence, beauty and intrigue. Renowned as the linchpin of civilization and the cultural centre of Europe, Venice was the most important trading post between Western Europe and the eastern stretch of the Mediterranean Sea. It was also the stage for political corruptions and clandestine dealings. This is where your story begins. As a young man striving for success, power and wealth and with the support of your family, you begin to build up a trading empire across Genua, Tripoli, Rome, Alexandria and Constantinople in addition to many other significant cities from the Renaissance. As you progress through the ranks of Venetian society, increasing your power with smart trading moves and calling in the occasional favour you can begin to assemble your own fleet. With this you will start to build up new production facilities, test yourself in challenging sea battles where you will face off against pirates as well as political enemies to finally become the Doge of Venice.Key Features:Experience a compelling story full of intrigue and treason in Venice at the time of the RenaissanceTrade a variety of goods in the most important cities of the time such as Rome, Alexandria, Constantinople or Athens. With your own family tree you can interact with your family members, send them on missions and watch how the power of your family grows over time.Meet other important families who are pulling the strings in Venice’s government and influence political decisions yourself.Build your own production facilities and trading fleetsTake fate into your own hands and test your skills in furious sea battles Multiplayer mode for up to 4 players via LAN and Internet 7aa9394dea Title: Rise of VeniceGenre: Simulation, StrategyPublisher:Kalypso Media DigitalRelease Date: 27 Sep, 2013 Rise Of Venice Download Direct Link rise of venice vs port royale. rise of venice recenzja. rise of venice mac. rise of venice famagusta. rise of venice vs port royale 3. rise of venice test 4players. games like rise of venice. rise of venice forum. rise of venice tips and tricks. rise of venice buildings. rise of venice erweiterung. rise of venice gold edition descargar. rise of venice how to get sailors. rise of venice beyond the sea cheats. rise of venice karte. rise of venice buildings. rise of venice kartenstücke. rise of venice 2 скачать. rise of venice gold edition cheats. rise of venice cities. rise of venice wikipedia. rise of venice how to board a ship. rise of venice production chain. rise of venice no intro. rise of venice coop. rise of venice rivals. rise of venice capture ship. rise of venice android. rise of venice cheat engine table. games like rise of venice. rise of venice gold edition español torrent. rise of venice trade route guide. rise of venice game. rise and fall of venice. rise of venice beyond the sea key. rise of venice gold download. rise of venice let's play. rise of venice handelsrouten tipps. rise of venice trade guide. rise of venice steward settings The combat is horrible, and provides no tutorial for it while having a completely incomprehensible controle scheme. Early on the campaign forces you to board and capture a particular enemy ship and it is absolutely game breaking for me. I like these types of games, and I liked Patrician but this system of limiting ship battles to 3 per side while the battles themselves simply being silly circles of death is also painful. I dont think I can be any more angry about these problems ruining an otherwise entertaining game.. I'm a gamer whou should be the ideal target marget for this type of game. My many hours of 'gameplay' have been spent simply trying to get the game to function as intended by the developers. Sadly for me the game sound stutters terribly, so the game is unbearable to play. This is despite the fact I'm able to play all my other games without similar issue, so the hardware should not be at fault here. This is a common cause of ffrustration for many players, and often put down to players having certain Nvidia graphics cards that are seemingly not compatible with this game (though indeed some owners of this brand can play the game OK apparently). However, there's enough people posting similar issues to understand this is a fundamental problem for some players. No fix has ever been forthcoming since the game release. Avoid at all costs unless you want the risk of similar frustration. If it's ever fixed for me, and I doubt it will be, I'll update the review to assess the game as it was intended to be played.. Not interesting still.. If you've ever played Patrician or Port Royale this game is a prettier, shallower version. The same kind of game play problems that you find in those games you'll find in this one as well. Avoid.. massive potential to be great trading game but completely let down with the sea battle game play and pirates... trading system to simpple just complete lack of tallent(LOFT) in the game design and imagination department.. Not impressed controls are not intuitive and lack of strategic complexity gets boring fast.. The game is fun. But I cannot load saved games or even start new game. That is big issue if you want to enjoy the game while you are expanding.. Excellent trading game. Get this if you liked the Port Royale (PR) and/or Patrician (PAT) series. The game is very similar to PR and PAT and some parts are ripped from these games (some sounds and trading goods). The 1st mayor difference you will notice is that there is only 1 screen in which you can do everything. You no longer can go into cities and see how cities look and you can no longer place buildings in places you want. This greatly speeds up the game, because there are no more loading screens. I didnt like the citybuilding aspect of PAT4, because placing buildings was wonky, but I liked the grid system of PR3.Another mayor difference are the families. Getting married in PR and PAT always felt useless and did not give real benefits. In Rise of Venice (RoV) family members can actually be send on missions. E.g. in the campaign one of my brothers was a doctor and could cure disease in cities, others were captains and had increased stats, etc.Ranking up has been changed. You now need to have a certain amount of convoys, sailors/workers, etc AND you need to get permission of the council of Venice. So no more automatic rank up when you have reached the prerequisites. This means that you have to keep the council happy, which means doing missions. Missions are similar to previous games, although the 'search and rescue' missions can be a bit annoying, because ships have a very small line of sight.Naval battles have been improved. The AI now actually uses chainshot to bring down your sails. RoV has added fire (floats on water and destroys sails) and barrels (explode after x seconds doing normal damage). MAYOR ANNOYANCE: You can only do battles with convoys you have selected. Everything else goes automatic. Naval battles with automatic trade convoys which you dont have selected, will always be resolved automatically. This means either getting a big escort, so you always win, or no escort, so you dont loose too much (only some goods). Doesnt matter if you can win battles with the smallest ship yourself. Convoy not selected = always automatic battles. Really annoying. I am still waiting for a game where they remove pirates. There are competirors in the game, who at higher ranks will try to sabotage you. Which is fine, because it will give added difficulty. You can sabotage them too, although I dont know if this has an effect, because in previous games the AI used cheats. The game looks okay, but occasionally I had mayor graphics glitches.. This game is just anouther example of how kalypso games are heading downhill. Port Royal 3 was just a cheap knockoff of Port Royal 2. This game is a copy of Port Royal 3 with new textures. There is NO REAL TUTORIAL aside from a few hints here and there. Towns are spaced too far apart compared to ships so that viewing the game is a sickening expiriance. Icons are horribly small compared to the map. I as of yet, have not found a way to adjust the sensitivity, and scrooling is a quest of its own. Town zones are too large for no reason, and the trading system is shotty. The most I can say for it is they have introduced a political system-- For players who want even more politics crowding thier minds. The creators have tried way to hard to pound out yet anouther game. The guality and gaming expiriance reflect the obvious lack of effort. "Copy past Port Royal 3, add new map, make game even worse than before, and done, $25.00x, x = every sucker to buy this game"
